Abstract

Objective To investigate the area ratio and galvanic couple spacing of titanium alloy and 95#steel for the galvanic corrosion behavior of 95#steel in 3% NaCl solution. Methods The galvanic corrosion rate of steel and the curve of current density and potential were analyzed. Results The results showed that the galvanic corrosion rate increased with the increase of Sc/Sa,the galvanic couple of spacing decreased to 12 mm from 24 mm,and the corrosion rate increased by 34~ 45 times. Conclusion Galvanic corrosion rate increased with the increase of the ratio of anode area, and reduced with the increase of the galvanic couple spacing.
