Abstract
Initial study was carried out on the growth performance of 6 clonal E.urophylla and hybrid Eucalyptus(E.saligna×E.exserta,E.grandis×E.urophylla,E.urophylla×camaldulensis).It was found that all these 6 clones were of high growth performance.Yearly mean volume growth reached 31.34m3/hm2 at 44th month.Tree hight,DBH and volume growth displayed little difference from 8th month old to 44th month old. However, the clones labeled No.3(E.grandis×E.urophylla),No.5(E.grandis×E.urophylla)and No.4(E.urophylla) grew well.In addition, growth stability of clones were high and early-stage selection was reliable.
