Abstract
There is an uncontrolled abuse of the concepts of aesthetic and in the contemporary neo-aesthetic atmosphere,which leads to the aestheticization of.everyday life and the synchronization of art with life.As a result,some advocate the death of aesthetics and the end of art.To be sure,Chinese traditional aesthetics is also in peril.This paper aims to investigate the Chinese artistic spirit that emphasizes the identification of the concrete and abstract,concluding that due to the underlying profound philosophical thinking,this Chinese artistic spirit has significant realistic meaning and hence,deserves to be inherited and developed.
