Clinical Efficacy of Esomeprazole in the Treatment of Senile Gastric Ulcer

Objective To analyze clinical effect of esomeprazole in the treatment of senile gastric ulcer.Methods 58 patients of senile gastric ulcer in our hospital from October 2012 to October 2013,which were randomly divided into control group and observation group,29 cases in each group,control group was treated with Omeprazole,observation group was treated with esomeprazole therapy,the clinical efficacy of two groups were compared.Results Total effective rate of observation group was 93.10%(27/29),which was higher than 71.41%(21/29) of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05);Helicobacter pylori(Hp) eradication rate of observation group was 89.66%(26/29),which was higher than 68.97%(20/29) of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05);Adverse reaction rate of observation group was 6.90%(2/29),which was lower than 13.79%(4/29) of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Esomeprazole treating senile gastric ulcer patients,has significant efficacy,and less adverse reaction,high security.
