Abstract
Model-based design methodology is widely deployed in the design of embedded control systems.Validating the correctness of the models and generated embedded code is one of the urgent problems needed to be solved.Based on platform-based design methodology,an embedded computing platform for autonomous vehicles was introduced. The embedded computing platform could be used for modeling complex real-time control systems.Furthermore,by using the platform, embedded code could be generated automatically and the real-time control system could be implemented and validated with various granularities via the use of X-in-the-loop simulation, including model-in-the-loop simulation,software-in-the-loop simulation and hardware-in-the-loop simulation. The main contribution of the embedded computing platform is to enhance the efficiency of real-time control system development.
