Abstract
The rosin-based quaternary ammonium Gemini surfactants are synthesized from dehydroabietylamine by reaction with α,ω-bisbromoalkanes.Their structures are characterized by IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. The surface activities of them are investigated and analyzed. The results show that they have higher surface activities for their critical micelle concentration values between(2.5-5.5)×10-5 mol/L,γCMC values of 23.7-30.3 mN/m,excellent emulsifying power(with benzene) and foaming power.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
