Abstract
Quaternary ammonium Gemini surfactants containing ghydroxyl and methylene in the space group were synthesized(denoted as BQADC12).The structures are testified by using of IR,melting point assay and EA.The effect element of reaction was discussed. The optimum reaction conditions of synthesis BQADC12 were obtained as follows:with n[C12H25N(CH3)2] ∶n(C3H6OCl)= 2.1 ∶1.0,propanol as solvent and refluxing for 6 h,the yield of BQADC12 is 89.8%.The properties of the synthesis surfactants(BQADC12,BQADC14,BQADC18) were characterized. The γcmc of the surfactants is 30.9,34.7,39.4 mN/m and the critical middle concentration is 5.2×10-4,1.1×10-4,4.5×10-5 mol/L at 25 ℃.The surfactants also show good properties of emulsification, foaming and foam stability.
