Abstract
Taking the installation of TMD into account, this paper has derived frequency-amplitude function for MDOF structures with MTMD using the frequency-domain analysis method. Based on this function, the parameter optimization and .design of MTMD are carried out. The numerical ex- ample showed that MTMD could effectively reduce the earthquake response if MTMD are accurately designed.
