Abstract

Objective To compare the efficicence between laparoscopic cluster ligation and high ligation of internal spermatic veins in treatment of varicocele. Methods Seventy examples were randomly divided into two groups,36 patients(group A)who underwent laparoscopic cluster ligation and 34 patients(group B) who received laparoscopic high ligation of internal spermafic vein, and to analyse the sperm quality, surgery time and the clinical performance. Results Significant differences were found in the operation time(P0.01)and healing rate between the two groups(P0.05).Sperm number and sperm living rate were distinctly enhanced(P0.01),and the rate of sperm deformity was significantly failed(P0.01),but improvements were not significant different in the two grops(P0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic cluster ligation and high ligation of internal spermatic vein for the treatment of varicocele is reliable effect, but the former has the advantages of shorter operation time, simple orperation and higher cure rate when compared to the laster.
