On Liang QiChao′s Values of Journalism

As the pioneer of the press in China, Liang Qichao paid much attention to the positive role of newspaper in political movements. On the basis of full understanding of the social value of newspaper, Liang Qichao had developed a set of values on journalism which was relatively systematic. On the objectives, the criteria and the norms of the values of newsman, he had made brilliant expositions which influenced the following journalism significantly.
