Abstract

Liang Qichao left a great deal of precious spiritual wealth for the successors because of his predominant practice and theory of journalism.He initiated the tradition of Political Journalism,but some limitations of the thoughts have brought negative influence to the later journalists and the development of journalism,such as his incorrect understanding of the functions of journalism,consensus value of newspaper and freedom of journalism.
