Clinical study of Danhong injection in the treatment of chronic pulmonary heart disease

Abstract
Objective To research the effect of Danhong Injection on patients with acute exacerbation of chronic pulmonary heart disease.Methods 70 patients with acute exacerbation of chronic pulmonary heart disease were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in the control group(n=34) were treated with conventional therapy,and those in the treatment group(n=36) received the same treatment but with intravenous infusion of Danhong injection additionally,The treatment lasted for 10 days.The arterial blood gas values,D-dimer and the level of B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP) were compared before treatment and after treatment.Results The arterial blood gas values,the D-dimer and the level of BNP after treatment in the treatment group were markedly improved(P0.05).Conclusion Danhong Injection is effective in the treatment of chronic pulmonary heart disease in acute exacerbation.
