This article introduces briefly the characteristics of casing drilling technology and the advantages of casing drilling technology compared to conventional drill pipe.Detailed describs the casing drilling technology research of the two companies of the Canadian Tesco and the United States Weatherford.Finally,introduces the development and field application of the China's casing drilling technology,and proposes the problems of Casing drilling technology need to solve for further.
