Analysis for Application Prospects and Development of Casing Drilling Technology

Abstract
Casing drilling is a kind of advanced drilling technology, is uses the casing to pass the force and consolidate cementing and drilling. Since the end of the 20 century, casing drilling has been widely used in drilling engineering, because casing drilling has many advantages, it can reduce the cost of drilling. The development of casing drilling technology is described, and several technical difficulties that must be resolved in applying and promoting area of the casing drilling are analyzed according to the engineering instances. On the basis of the casing drilling development in our country and its process characters, the application prospects of casing drilling are also analyzed.
