Abstract

Based on the monitoring data of fishery environment obtained from the Xinghua Bay,Fujian Province in July 1997,the concentrations and distributions of heavy metals in the surface sediments and fishery organisms,the correlation between heavy metals and organic matters,and the accumulation of heavy metals in the fishery organisms are analyzed.The results show that the concentrations of heavy metals in the sea water and fishery organisms at the Xinghua Bay are all below the standards,but the sediments are mostly polluted with Pb and Zn.
