The systhesis solution to IP QoS and its applications

Abstract

In order to make the IP networks meet the requirement of some real-time services such as audio and video,it is necessary to research on QoS for different services of IP networks. Several QoS protocols are analyzed and discussed in this paper,including Resource Reservation Protocol(RSVP),Intserv,Diffserv and MPLS. There are two methods that are beneficial to reduce the delay time in Internet and realize the share of Internet resources. One method is combining Intserv/RSVP with Diffserv,and the other is the model of IP over ATM. In the end,this paper expounds how to utilize MPLS in electric power communication networks according to the demands of key operations.
