THE ACTIVITY OF DAILY LIVING OF RURAL ELDERLY POPULATION IN SHANDONG PROVINCE AND THE RESEARCH OF IN FLUENCING FACTORS

Abstract

[Objective] To know about the status of the activity of daily living(ADL) of rural elderly population in Shandong Province,and to explore the influencing factors.[Methods] Used ADL scales to measure the ADL of 451 rural elderly population of Shandong Province,then analyzed the influencing factors with multinomial logistic regression.[Results] The male,with spouse and low age were preventive factors of the decreasing or dysfunction of ADL;low educational level,few activities and chronic disease were risk factors.[Conclusion] The related departments should improve the activity of daily living of rural elderly population and pay more attention to the elderly people with old age,without the spouse,with low the educational level,the female and with chronic disease.
