Abstract

Objective:To investigate the relationship between the changes of T lymphocyte subsets and the changes of airway resistance in asthmatic patients. Methods:Flowcytometry was used to compare and analyze the T lymphocyte subsets(CD3、CD4~+、CD8~+ CD4~+/CD8~+)in the peripheral blood from 26 acute attack asthmatic patients and 30 healthy subjects.indices of airway resistance were recorded. Results:The level of CD4 T cell in asthma patients was significantly higher than that in healthy subject(P0.01);The level of CD8 T cell was significantly lower than that in healthy subject(P0.01);CD4/CD8 was also significantly higher than healthy subject(P0.01).there were no significant difference in the level of CD3 T cell between asthma patients and healthy subjects P0.05).The relation analysis showed that the airway had significantly positive relation to the level of CD4(r=0.512,P0.01).The levels of CD8 T cell were significantly negatively related to it(r=-0.571,P0.01),but it had significant negative correlation with the ratio of CD4+ / CD8+(r=-0.62,P0.01).Conclusion:The balance of T-lymphocyte subsets in asthma patients deviates significantly. The deviation of balance of CD4/CD8 showed that the disturbance of immune system relats to airway resistance.
