Abstract

InfiniBand,a new I/O architecture,replaces the shared I/O bus architecture by adopting channel-based high-speed serial links and scalable fabric switching networks.The features of high bandwidth,low delay and scalable interconnection overcome the various limitations of traditional I/O architectures.A scheme of InfiniBand-based SAN system(IBSAN) is introduced in the paper,and the key topics of IBSAN is also studied.
