Abstract
Objective:To establish 3-Methoxy-Methylenimine H spectrophotometry to detect boric acid in food.Method:Food sample was ashed in alkaline condition, used 3-Methoxy-Methylenimine H as colourant, then detected boric acid in food.Result:It showed good linear relationship at the concentration of boric acid of 0-5.0 mg/kg,r0.998,the recovery was between 90.0~99.1%, CV5%,and the detection limit was 5.0 mg/kg.Compared to curcumin spectrophotometry, the result had no significant difference (t=0.757,P0.05).Conclusion:The method was simple, convenient and rapid, its sensitivity and accuracy were satisfied with the requirement, and appropriated to determination of boric acid in food .
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
