Abstract

Lu Jiuyuan was the founder in the theory of the philosophy of in neo-Confucianism,who put forward the thesis of My is the universe and vice verse and Mind is principle.Study of mind created by Lu Jiuyuan,together with the thought of CHENG Brothers and ZHU Xi,has a great influence upon the development of the post Song Dynasty.This article argues why Lu Jiuyuan could create the study of from several aspects,such as the background of the society,the influence of family,the theory of Cheng Brothers,the theory of the Chan and the mind-nature of Mencius.
