Relationship between factor endowment and sports industry development in western regions

Relationship between factor endowment and sports industry development in the western regions was researched by using the methods of literature review,social investigation and logical analysis and so on.The results showed that there were abundant natural and human resources of sport in the western regions.However,if the relation of factor endowment to sports industry was evaluated as a whole,there existed two basic characteristics:one was the overall development level was not high,the other was the structure was weak and the lack of resource,which could reflect the level of factor resource in modern times,such as capital,technology,manpower,information and system.According to factor endowment theory,on the basis of exerting advantages,some items which had less investment,more benefit and special features should be chosen to mould industry brand name.In addition,the real status of social economy development in the western regions should be concerned to improve the existed factor endowment through the aspects of quantity,quality and structure.
