Latent and Outstanding Style in the English Translation of Classic Chinese Poetry

The aesthetic view of being latent and outstanding in The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons is important not only to the guide of literary creation and appreciation,but also to the English translation of classic Chinese poetry.The layered significance and outstanding wording are used to evaluate the aesthetic value of the English translation of classic Chinese poetry.This paper discusses the aesthetic features in the translation of images,rhetoric partial tone and sound malapropism,and points out that the aesthetic view is an important criteria to evaluate the loyalty of translated verses.Meanwhile,the different ways of transformation of xie(ironic humor)and yin(latent expression) reflect the translators' different aesthetic subjectivity.
