Abstract
A wealth of research shows that motivation plays a significant role in second language learning.Currently, academicians are trying to explore the function of motivation in classroom teaching,a more actual language-learning environment.Experts haven't reached an agreement on the pattern and genre of motivation in second language learning, though;they recognize the importance of motivation in second language learning.Furthermore, they hold the view that the expected learning results are closely associated with motivation.Insight into the relationship between motivation and second language learning will help second language teachers make full use of the various advantages of motivation to implement classroom-teaching strategies and stimulate second-language learners to more effectively learn second language.
