Abstract

Objective:To observe expression of oncogene c fos and c jun′s and their clinical significance in HCC.Methods:Using immunohistochemical S P technique to investigate the expression of c fos and c jun in 10 cases of normal hepatic tissues,31 cases of HCC and 23 cases of para HCC,respecfively. Results: There was lower expression of c fos in normal hepatic tissues. There existed significant overexpression of c fos and c jun in HCC,para HCC.The positive rate in para HCC was 65 2%(15/23) (c fos) and 60 9% (14/23)(c jun),respecfively. In HCC,the positive rate was 54 8% (17/31)(c fos)and 51 9% (16/31) (c jun),respectively. In HCC,the expression degree of c fos and c jun were closely related to diffrentiation( P 0.05).Moreover coexpression of both c fos and c jun′s was dominant in HCC. Conclusion: The results suggested that c fos and c jun were closely related to the occurrence and development of HCC. The expression of c fos and c jun was associated with the differentiation, therefore the state of c fos and c jun could be regarded as a marker of HCC prognosis.
