Abstract
Partition characteristics of breviscapinum in the propyl-alcohol ammonium sulfate aqueous two-phase system were studied. The formation of aqueous two-phase was investigated and the effects of the amount of(NH4)2SO4 and initial pH of the solution on the partition ratio were measured. The experiment showed that optimum partition initial conditions were 10.0 mL,salt-water volume and 4.0 mL propyl-alcohol volume,3.5g(NH4)2SO4 and pH 4.08,with the maximum partition ratio as 107.5 and the maximum extraction rate as 97.7%.A weak diacid partition model was developed based on the experiment.
