Abstract

Objective:To investigate the value of C-reactive protein(CRP)in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) with acute exacerbation. Methods:CRP levels, leukocyte count(WBC)and neutrophil counts(N),Xiechen(ESR)and sputum cultures of 67 Case of acute exacerbations detection of COPD patients were checked before and after the treatment. Results:Patients with COPD aggravating period was higher than other lab CRP index(P0.01).The after-treatment showed significant improvement over before the treatment(P0.01).Conclusion:In acute exacerbations of COPD,CRP is a reflection of inflammatory process, period of COPD with acute exacerbation period of efficacy judgment bacterial infections and sensitive indicators.
