Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of C-reactive protein(CRP)in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)with acute exacerbation.Methods CRP levels,leukocyte count(WBC)and neutrophil counts(N),Xiechen(ESR)and sputum cultures of 52 cases of acute exacerbations detection of COPD patients were checked before and after the treatment.Results Patients with COPD aggravating period was higher than other lab CRP index(P0.01).The after-treatment showed significant improvement over before the treatment(P0.01).Conclusion In acute exacerbations of COPD,CRP is a reflection of inflammatory process,period of COPD acute exacerbation period of efficacy judgment bacterial infections and sensitive indicators.
