Abstract
A hybridization experiment was conducted between world famous mutton sheep Poll Dorset(♂),high reproductive performance Small-tail Han Sheep(♀),which aimed to improve economic efficiency of local sheep industry.The results showed that birth weight,3-month weaning weight,6-month body weight and the 10-month body weight,dressing rate,net meat weight,net meat ratio of F1 generation increased significantly compared with Small-tail Han sheep of same age.
