Abstract
Objective To study the effects of milrinone on cardiac function and the serum levels of tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α) and interleukin-6(IL-6) in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF) in acute aggravation status. Methods Fifty patients with CHF in acute aggravation status were included in The study group, and Fifty healthy persons were included in the control group. The study group were given milrinone for 10 d. The cardiac function and the serum levels of TNF-α and IL-6 before and after the treatment were compared with the control group. Results After treatment, the total effective rate in the study group was 92.00%(46/50), and the LVEDd and LVEF were significantly improved than those before treatment(P0.05); after treatment, there were still significant difference in the serum TNF-α and IL-6 levels in study group with the control group(P0.05), but there were significant improvement than before treatment(P0.05). Conclusion Milrinone can improve cardiac function in CHF patients, and reduce the levels of serum TNF-α and IL-6.
