Abstract

Cotton fabric was dyed with ginkgo leaf, and mordant color fastness of the fabric was investigated.Effect of two mordant's dyeing properties on cotton dyeing was discussed. The results showed that the optimal process for alum mordant dyeing was temperature 70 ℃,mordant dyeing time 25 min, mordant concentration 10 g/L.The optimal process for CuSO4 mordant dyeing temperature 60 ℃,mordant dyeing time 25 min, mordant concentration 12.5 g/L.
