Modern Chinese Peasants' Historical Role and Lost Benefits

Chinese peasants are the driving force in the course of the founding of new China, and with the very spirit of revolution, they are the cradle of the success of China's revolution. Enterprises in the rural areas and towns have opened up new access to countryside's modernization. However, the peasants have paid huge cost and lost a lot of benefits due to people's wrong ideas on the issue of peasants and on the problems of countryside. Looking back in the past, we find it necessary to handle the issue of peasants correctly in the course of modernization.
