Abstract
Objective To evaluae the therapeutic effect of thoracic cavity injection in malignant pleural effusion and explore the clinical value of the method. Methods The clinical data of 66 patients with malignant pleural effusion were retrospectively reviewed. They were treated by 50 mg/m2of cisplatin and 2000000 units of Interleukin-2.The efficacy, quality of life and toxicities were evaluated. Results The total efficiency was 91.8%.Conclusion Intrapleural injection with interleukin-2 combined with cisplatin is effective for patients with malignant pleural effusion. It deserves further applications.
