Observation on the Effect of Sanyrene for Preventing Pressure Ulcer during Spine Surgery

Objective To investigate the effect of sanyrene for preventing pressure ulcer during spine surgery.Methods 80 patients undergoing spine surgery were ramdomly divided into treatment group(n=40) and control group(n=40).All the duration of surgery was longer than 2.5 h.Ordinary nursing countermeasures were adopted in both two groups.Sanyrene was used in the patients in treatment group before operation.Pressure ulcers were observed and calculated for all the patients at the end of operation.Results Only pressure ulcer of one patient occurred in the treatment group while 8 patients in the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion It can prevent pressure ulcer effectively by using sanyrene in spinal surgery of long duration.
