Abstract

As a kind of cross-cultural communication,translation is actually also a process of transferring the cultural information of the source words.Translators should take the two different cultural contexts into consideration.This paper studies the translation strategy of cultural words from the perspective of cross-cultural communication and further analyzes the conditions under which different translation strategies are employed.
