Abstract
Translation is not only an activity of linguistic transformation,but also an activity of cross—cultural communication.Cultural Translation Theory emphasizes the impact and constraint of target cultural context on translation activities.The translation activities are influenced and constrained by various elements of target cultural context,such as cultural convention,ideology,racial psychology,and cultural communication extent.Under the guidance of Cultural Translation Theory,this article tries to study how translation activities are influenced by target cultural context.
