Abstract

Mobile node will produce handover when it moves between two different sub networks.The technology of handover of the mobile node is one of the key problems of guaranteeing the quality of service of the real-time business.Now,IETF is developing fast handover and hierarchical mobile IPv6 to provide handover mechanisms for mobile IPv6.The principle of mobile IPv6 is firstly intro-duced.On this basis,one of the key technologies in mobile IPv6—handover technology is studied and analyzed in detail,and a fast handover scheme under hierarchical mobile IPv6 is produced.
