An Improved Technology for the Handover in Mobile IPv6

Abstract

Mobile node will produce handover when it moves between two different sub networks.The technology of handover of the mobile node is one of the key problems of guaranteeing the quality of service of the real-time business.Now,IETF is developing fast handover and hierarchical mobile IPv6 to provide handover mechanisms for mobile IPv6.After a detailed introduction of the principles of two technologies,this paper makes some improvements,and puts forward a fast handover scheme under hierarchical mobile IPv6.
