On the Word akū in Manchu——Simultaneously Comparing with Sibo Language

Abstract
The word akū of Manchu usually express the meaning of without.From ancient to now,however,various researchers have different ideas on the property of its ascription and other language phenomena related.According to its form and meaning,akū is the root of verb akūmbi which expresses no or not.While from the angle of verb tense and pattern of grammar,it is different from the verbs with morphology change,akū is the present tense rather than the command form of verb akūmbi.
