Detection of virulence gene and serotyping of Vibrio parahaemolyticus isolated from one food poisoning

Abstract

Objective To find out serotypes and virulence gene of Vibrio parahaemolyticus isolated from one food poisoning.Methods Six strains of V.parahaemolyticus were identified and typed using specific antisera.Multiplex PCR method were used to test for the presence of tdh and trh.Results There were 2 serotypes in the isolates,O3:K29 and O10:KUT.All isolates from patients and food were lack of gene tdh and trh.Conclusion Different serotypes of V.parahaemolyticus can be isolated from one food poisoning.
