Comparative Study on Tolerance of Shade of Ten Different Varieties of Groundcover Plants

Abstract

On the condition of nature shade,comparative study was conducted on tolerance of shade of ten differ-ent varieties of groundcover plants,The results showed: tolerance of shade of Sedum spectabile,S.nicaeense,and Eu-onymus fortunei var.radicans were best,tolerance of shade of Chrysanthemum maximum,Dendranthema morifoliu ‘Bei-jingxiaoju,’ Dendranthema morifolium ‘Beimeihuang,’ Iris tectorum,S.bybridum cv.Im-meryrunchett were better,and Hemerocallis fuava,S.spurium‘Coccineum’had not tolerance of shade.
