Observation on the application effect of uterine artery embolization in the treatment of patients with postpartum hemorrhage

Abstract
Objective To observe and study the application effect of uterine artery embolization in the treatment of patients with postpartum hemorrhage.Methods 52 patients with postpartum hemorrhage in our hospital from April 2011 to September 2013 were selected as research object,and 52 cases were randomLy divided into control group(uterine artery ligation group)26 cases observation group(uterine artery embolization group)26 cases,then the hemostatic situation,blood loss at different time after the operation,operation time,hospitalization time and complications rate of two groups were compared.Results The hemostatic situation of observation group were all better than those of control group,blood loss at different time after the operation were less than those of control group,operation time and hospitalization time were both shorter than those of control group,complications rate was significantly lower than that of control group,those of two groups all had significant differences(P0.05).Conclusion The application effect of uterine artery embolization in the treatment of patients with postpartum hemorrhage is better,and it has the advantages of faster effect and higher safety.
