Abstract

The contents of six microelements(Fe,Zn,Mn,Pb, Cu and Cd) in chenzhou lotus leaf were determined by using flame atomic absorption spectrometry with the mixed acid of HNO3-HClO4(3.5∶1) as the digesting solution and the sample of lotus leaf being dissolved under the circumstance of normal pressure and little boil. The optimal working conditions of the instruments used to determine the different elements were studied. The proper sample digestion system was determined. The disturbance, accuracy and precision of the method were examined. The elements in lotus leaf did not interfere with each other under the given experimental condition,so the six elements in the same preparation solution could be examined. The experimental result indicated that there were abundant Zn,Fe,Cu and Mn in the chenzhou lotus leaf, but there were no harmful elements Pb and Cd.The recovery and relative standard deviations were 97.7%~101.6% and 2.11%(n=6),respectively.The result was accurate and reliable.
