Abstract
Objective To determine six trace elements including Fe,Cu,Zn,Mn,Ca and Mg in lotus root starch. Methods The sample was digested in a mixed acid of V( HClO4) + V( HNO3) =1 +4. The absorbance was directly determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The content was calculated by standard curve method. Results There were six kinds of trace elements with Fe,Zn,Cu,Mn,Ca and Mg in lotus root starch, and the content of Fe,Ca and Mg were very high. The average recoveries were from 94. 8% to 105. 2%. Conclusion The method was simple and accurate, and the results were satisfied.
