Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of TAE with iodized oil emulsion of lidocaine Pingyangmycin for treatment of cavernous hemangioma of liver. Methods 29 cases suffered with hepatic cavernous hemangioma,13 males and 16 females, aged from 23 to 61 years. There were of 19 cases with hemangioma in the right lobe of liver,4 cases in left lobe, and 6 cases in both of the lobes. There were 21 cases with single lesion and 8 cases with multiple lesions. After femoral artery catheterization, the selective hepatic artery, superior mesenteric artery angiography were done. After superselecting the feeding arteries to the CHL,lidocaine iodine Pingyangmycin of oil emulsion were injected for transcatheter arterial embolization. Results All patients received embolization successfully. And 3-months,1-year follow-up showed relief of symptoms, tumor shrink or disappear,no serious complications. Conclusion The use of iodized emulsion Pingyangmycin lidocaine in transcatheter arterial embolization for hepatic cavernous hemangioma is effective and safe.
