Study on the type changes and development of bamboo furniture

From the art style,material type,structure type and manufacturing skills,the paper studies on the evolution of China′s bamboo furniture.It is proposed that developing new type bamboo furniture and replacing wood with bamboo is a feasible way to solve the raw materials crisis and enhance the utilization value of bamboo.It is held that there is a broad potential market for developing the new type bamboo furniture as green products which have high economic,social and ecological effects.
