Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Compound Glycyrrhizin Injection as the adjuvant therapy for patients with chronic hepatitis B. Methods 60 cases of chronic hepatitis B patients admitted in our hospital from January 2009 to January 2013 were randomly divided into two groups. 30 cases in the control group were treated with Adefovir Dipivoxil, and 30 cases in the observation group were treated with Compound Glycyrrhizin Injection on the basis of the treatment given to the control group. The course of treatment of both groups was 1 year. The recovery rate of ALT, HBV-DNA and HBeAg negative rate at 24, 48 weeks of treatment were counted and compared, respectively. Results The rate of normal ALT of both groups of patients after 24 weeks of treatment was 100%, however, that of the control group decreased to 70% at 48 weeks of treatment; the HBV-DNA turning negative rate of the observation group at 24, 48 weeks of treatment was 73.3%, 86.7%, respectively, significantly higher than 46.7%,60.0% of the control group, respectively; the HBeAg turning negative rate of the observation group at 24, 48 weeks of treatment was 33.3%, 56.7%, respectively, significantly higher than the control group's 13.3%, 20.0%, respectively. Conclusion Compound Glycyrrhizin Injection combined with Adefovir Dipivoxil in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B has a significant effect, which can rapidly inhibit the virus replication with faster onset, and is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
