Observe on the Treatment of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis with Changhuaning Decoction(肠化宁汤),a Report of 58 Cases

Abstract

Fifty eight cases of chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) were treated with Changhuaning Decoction(CD,肠化宁汤).The patients were divided into four types:stagnation of the liver qi and insufficiency of the spleen,insufficiency of yang of both the stomach and the spleen,insufficiency of yin of both the stomach and the spleen,insufficiency of the spleen and the damp heat of the spleen.The effect was observed after 3 months.Result:20 cases were remarkably effective, 29 effective,9 ineffective and the total effective rate was 84.5%;the total effective rates of different type respectively were 82.4%, 84.6%, 88.9%,84.2%(Hc=-0 3276,P0 05).
