The curative effect of method of invigorating spleen to warm middle warmer on chronic atrophic gastritis belonging to type of deficiency-old of both spleen and stomach

Objective To observe the clinical effect on compound Chinese medicine of warming middle-Jiao and invigorating spleen in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG) with syndrome of spleen and stomach deficiency cold in cold area.Methods 86 patients with CAG with syndrome of spleen and stomach deficiency cold were divided into treatment group(42 cases) and control group(44 cases).Treatment group was treated by method of warming middle-Jiao and invigorating spleen and control group was treated by Kangaiping Pill.The changes of clinical symptoms scores and pathological scores were observed,and the gastroscope was taken after treatment for 12 weeks.Results The clinical symptoms and pathological score after treatment obviously decreased.But there was no difference between two groups in the total effective rate(90.48% vs 86.36%,P0.05).Conclusion Syndrome of spleen and stomach deficiency cold is the most type of chronic atrophic gastritis in Heilongjiang province.Chinese medicine of warming and invigorating spleen has definite effect on chronic atrophic gastritis with syndrome of spleen and stomach deficiency cold,and can improve clinical symptoms and gastroscopic findings.
