Abstract

In this paper,a number of attractive features of halbach array is presented first,and then the basic model of a halbach array permanent motor with external rotor is given.Through the finite element analysis,halbach array permanent magnet machine is studied compared with the normal array one,validate the advantage of the halbach array permanent motor with external rotor.Finally,bring forward the possibility using for Direct coupled permanent magnet wind power generators.
